Community ideas sought

We asked the community for their ideas on how to redevelop the vacant Heathwood site in Queensland for community use earlier this year.


Transurban Linkt  

Our new retail brand

As a part of our commitment to improve the customer experience we launched our new retail brand, Transurban Linkt.

98% first call resolution

 With thousands of customer calls per day to our call centre, more than 98% of enquiries were resolved on the first call.


GPS tolling trial

We trialled an innovative new tolling approach using our GPS-enabled Android app LINKTGO, which allows motorists to use toll roads without setting up an account or pass.


Innovation grants  

Three innovation grants awarded

We awarded $100,000 grants to three pioneering research and development projects targeting safer and smarter Australian roads in the latest round of our Innovation Grants Program.

Transurban Road Safety Centre  
Transurban Road Safety Centre opens

As a part of our commitment to road safety we partnered with Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) to launch an innovative new road safety research centre in May.


Smart Highways Challenge

Through our partnership with startup incubator 1776, we asked the startup community to help provide innovative vehicle monitoring, smart transportation and road safety solutions.



Reconciliation in action

We launched our second Reconciliation Action Plan 'Innovate RAP' during National Reconciliation Week.

We were named as one of Australia's top 10 business leaders in Corporate Social Responsibility in May.


Infrastructure Sustainability

Our Gateway Upgrade North and the CityLink Tulla Widening projects were both awarded ‘Excellent’ IS ratings this year.
