CityLink is a 22km road connecting Melbourne's Monash, West Gate and Tullamarine freeways providing a link between Melbourne's CBD, port and airport. It includes the Burnley and Domain tunnels and the Bolte Bridge.
Work commenced on the CityLink Tulla Widening project in late 2015 to increase the road's capacity and shorten travel time between the airport and CBD. It includes the installation of world-class safety systems and is slated for completion in 2018.
CityLink opened to traffic in two stages: Western Link opened in August 1999 and Southern Link in December 2000. It is 100% Transurban owned and under concession until 2035.
CityLink accounts are now branded Linkt.
