On Sunday 14 September, the Sunday Mail Transurban Bridge to Brisbane 2025 brought together a sell-out crowd of 37,000 participants running, jogging, walking or wheeling the 10km or 5km course in support of charities across South East Queensland.

As major sponsor, Team Transurban showed up in force once again, with 400 employees, business partners, families and friends participating.

Together, Transurban and their business partners raised over $60,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland helping provide emergency accommodation for families of ill and injured children.

The Gateway Bridge took centre stage as thousands conquered its iconic incline. Bridge to Brisbane is the one day each year the community gets exclusive access to safely race across this landmark bridge while it’s closed to traffic. Participants enjoyed spectacular views of the city and bay before racing to the beat of all the musical acts on course.

The Bridge to Brisbane command centre was hosted from Transurban’s state-of-the-art traffic control room. Traffic control room operators closely monitored the 37,000 runners, walkers and rollers as they conquered the course, keeping them safe and moving. The team was cheering participants on as they watched the event unfold across Transurban roads.
