Thousands of families like four year old Holly’s receive vital support from Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland each year. One of 5 kids, Holly was born with Hypoplastic Heart Syndrome and spent her first 4 weeks of life in intensive care.

Holly’s Dad, Simon, says the family’s stay at Ronald McDonald House made a heart wrenching situation bearable.

“We are just so blessed to have this lovely little child in our lives who is able to be where she is – partly because of the wonderful work of the Ronald McDonald House Charity,” he said.

At our annual charity event on Friday 13 September, we came together at Eagle Farm Racecourse with more than 330 of our corporate partners and supporters to raise enough money to fund the operation of the RMHC SEQ family room and accommodation inside the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane for one year. This will support families who find themselves in the devastating circumstance of having a child in the intensive care unit unexpectedly.

This year, together with our partners, we reached a milestone in our long-term partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities, raising $1 million over seven years of running this event.
