Even at 60 metres underground, GPS drop outs will soon be a thing of the past in Brisbane tunnels.

In an Australian-first, we've installed more than 930 road navigation beacons across 18kms of tunnels, to replace the GPS signal when it hits a blackspot.

We’ve listened to our Linkt customers and have taken action to improve the on-road experience in our tunnels so motorists don’t miss an exit.

To access improved navigation motorists simply need to turn on their Bluetooth and use the Waze app when travelling through a tunnel.

The technology works by emitting a bluetooth signal which helps to guide the navigation system when GPS coverage is not available.

The road navigation beacons are now operational in AirportlinkM7, Clem7 and Legacy Way.
