St Kilda Mums, a charity that helps disadvantaged new mothers across Melbourne, will be able to help more new mums and bubs thanks to a $5,000 boost from our Community Grants program.
COVID-19 has impacted the community in many ways and St Kilda Mums have received more requests than ever as social workers and nurses reach out for help to support the disadvantaged new mothers in their care. The funding from the Community Grant will be used to purchase car seats, prams and other items that will give new mothers better mobility so they can get to appointments, play groups and wherever they need to go with more ease.
