Small businesses are an integral part of our supply chain, and we know that reliable and timely cashflows help these businesses grow and support their people.
Last financial year (FY22), we spent more than $71 million (not including GST) with over 664 Australian small businesses, who supplied us with a broad range of goods and services – from PPE to office supplies, and everything in between.
During this period, we paid 98% of invoices from small businesses within 30 days. This result sees Transurban ranked number one amongst our ASX20 peers for paying small businesses on time*.
Transurban is also a signatory to the Business Council of Australia’s (BCA) Supplier Payment Code, to show our commitment to paying eligible Australian small business suppliers on-time and within 30 days.
